Made from a double layer of sturdy cotton, sandwiching a layer of cotton canvas. These are meant to be worn with the laces fully closed. The boning is synthetic plastic boning, and the eyelets are metal and spaced according to size.

These are a set of stays based on the 18th Century shape, with a pattern adapted from Butterick 4252. The pattern has been adapted to fit better to a typical human shape, and the boning lines have been modified.

Photos currently represent two silk sets of stays made in size 12 -with a waist measurement of 30”.
